The bike's been modified with the addition of a 50 cc engine from Live Fast Motors and a cool set of Hardwood Fenders from Cody Davis in Bend Oregon

The Idler mounted on the left chain stay has two functions, Chain tension and getting the chain up from inside the stays before the clearance becomes too narrow. You don't want the chain sawing away at the stay.

It's definitely a part that could use some cosmetic help. here you can see where the chain has rubbed the paint off of the stay where the two cross.

Engine Driven Sprocket
This is a coaster brake equipped bike (Pedal backwards to stop) I did machine the center hole in the sprocket to clear the brake dust cap. An alternative method is to midify the dust cap (remove it's shoulder). I also squared the mounting holes in the sproket so that I could use carraige bolts for mounting..

The Engine driven sprocket is clamped to the spokes of the non-drive side of the wheel using belting to protect the spokes and clamping plates that come in the kit. I mounted mine with carraige bolts and poloy lock nuts.
